Job Details

A leading broadcast service provider currently has an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Broadcast Asset and Logistics Manager to join its team based in Hertfordshire.

As the Broadcast Asset and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all assets across global offices, the logistical coordination of all kit being shipped worldwide (broadcast equipment and vehicles) and the continuous development and optimisation of the asset management and scheduling system.

You will catalogue all assets within the inventory and enhance asset control procedures to ensure that all equipment can be identified, tracked globally and that the correct licences, insurances and maintenance contracts are in place. You will conduct regular inventory reviews to ensure that asset costs and book values reconcile.

Key responsibilities will be to optimise revenue generation by ensuring the maximum usage of all kit throughout its life-cycle and to manage the disposal of “end of life” assets in compliance with regulations.

Working closely with the Operations, Technology and Engineering teams, you will be involved in identifying future hardware, software and maintenance requirements for the business. You will also establish procurement processes to control and monitor the purchasing of new assets, negotiations with third party suppliers, the processing of orders and the receipt of new assets being delivered.

Candidates will have a proven track record in Asset and Logistics Management, ideally within the television broadcast sector, and have in-depth experience of asset management systems and procedures.

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills, combined with the ability to write clear reports and maintain accurate up-to-date records are essential. Applicants must thrive under pressure and be flexible to work irregular hours, as and when necessary, to ensure tight deadlines are met.

This is a very challenging role, offering the chance to join the company during an exciting time of growth, and play a key role in driving the business forward.

If you feel this is the right role for you and you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
