We are currently working with a London based global broadcast organisation that has an excellent initial 4 month contract opportunity available for a Content Operations Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating compliance edits and languages for assigned channels, ensuring schedules are 100% languaged and content is ready in time for transmission.
As the Content Operations Coordinator your duties will involve ordering required languages for your channel, issuing sub-dubs (subtitles / dubbing), sending scripts and material to suppliers and ensuring databases are accurate and up-to-date. You will also be required to book internal edits, obtain sign-off from programming contacts, highlight any legacy issues in advance, troubleshoot late running files / programmes and deal with language supplier requests on a daily basis.
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that candidates have worked within television broadcast operations previously, have intermediate Excel skills and possess exceptional attention to detail. You will also have working knowledge of broadcast systems such as IBMS and ScheduALL (or similar) and the ability to prioritise and manage a large number of projects simultaneously.
You must be able to communicate effectively in an international environment and any other additional language skills would be highly advantageous.
