A leading broadcast company currently has an excellent permanent opportunity available for an experienced Support Engineer.
Providing first line support to clients via email and telephone within a helpdesk environment, as the Support Engineer, you will be the first port of call for any technical queries across IT, IP, media asset management (MAM) and file-based systems. You will log all calls, raise tickets, escalate problems to the Engineering team and ensure technical issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently.
Candidates will ideally have experience of supporting MAM and file-based systems within the broadcast industry, with a good knowledge of IP and networking skills covering Cisco technologies. Any additional Cisco qualifications or experience of AutoCAD would be highly advantageous.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are vital, along with a strong, customer-focused, service delivery ethos and the ability to liaise with clients at all levels of seniority.
