We are currently working with a leading digital sports content provider, based in the north of England, that is looking to recruit an experienced Post Producer on a permanent basis. This vacancy is part of an exciting expansion period for our client’s already extensive portfolio of live and on-demand sport content, across their OTT platform offering.
As Post Producer you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end post-production process, from concept, planning and costing, through to delivery and archive and will ensure the correct resourcing and smooth running of all post production projects that come through the facility.
Your duties will include implementing and maintaining booking procedures, liaising with technical teams to devise and implement new workflows and working closely with the Post-Production Manager to cost and assure feasibility of new projects.
Taking and understanding full briefs from clients about new projects and having a strong understanding of the full spectrum of post-production workflows and schedules, is highly important for this role as well as being able to deal with any issues in a timely and efficient manner, whilst communicating well with clients.
People management and recruitment responsibilities will also be a part of this position.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience working as a Post Producer in a broadcast post-production environment, with a good understanding of post-production workflows and scheduling systems such as ScheduAll. You must also have commercial awareness, from initial planning and budgeting, through to managing day-to-day requirements and final delivery on budget. Any management or sports experience would be highly advantageous.
Additionally, you must be willing to travel and work within other locations, when required.
