A leading broadcast services company currently has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Senior Broadcast Engineer to be responsible for providing 3rd line technical support across its broadcast facility.
In your role as Senior Engineer you will be heavily involved in technical design and project implementation across a number of key broadcast areas, investigating escalated issues and liaising with 3rd party providers. You will provide day-to-day support and be involved in project work, contributing to the design of new systems, completing project implementation tasks and managing small technical projects.
This position will also be very customer-facing, acting as a key point of contact and escalation for technical issues, so you must possess exceptional communication and client relationship building skills.
To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate previous experience within a large technical broadcast facility. Strong knowledge of Morpheus playout and SAM technologies is required, as is experience across audio/video, editing and production systems. IT skills, networking and database technologies are also important.
Applicants must demonstrate good leadership skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly successful broadcast organisation and be responsible for running its facility from a technical perspective.
