A leading digital sports content provider currently has an excellent opportunity for a Senior PCR Operator to join its team in the north of England, on a permanent basis. In this role you will be required to assist in leading the daily operations of the production control room and supporting the production gallery, to ensure that content is delivered to the highest standards.
As a Senior PCR Operator your duties will involve the quality assessment of transmissions for video and audio faults, ensuring that commentary levels and mixes are to the highest standard, and fault escalation is managed, whilst keeping internal teams notified.
You will also on-board new tools and workflows into the PCR, train and develop the team of Operators, act as a senior point of contact for any internal and external clients and provide feedback and ideas to management on improvements and efficiencies for the department.
The role will be working in a 24/7 broadcast environment, therefore you must be happy to work 12-hour shifts, covering nights and weekends.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have previous experience working within a live MCR environment, with a good understanding of video or audio. You must be able to work collaboratively with a group of people in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals and possess strong planning and organisational skills. It is also important that you can demonstrate the ability to lead a team and motivate others.
