|Job Title:||Senior Post Production Engineer|
|Location:||Europe: London, UK|
|Salary:||£40,000 – £45,000 per annum|
A leading broadcast organisation currently has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Senior Post Production Engineer to join its London based team on a permanent basis.
As Senior Post Production Engineer, you will be responsible for providing third line technical support to post production systems and workflows, including Avid Media Composer, ISIS and Interplay, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will assist and supervise other members of the team with more complex technical issues, acting as an escalation point for first and second line engineers and deputising for the Technology Manager in their absence.
Alongside this, you will specify and design post production systems, integrating different technologies either at the request of a client or to introduce additional functionalities or efficiencies. You will also take responsibility for project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, reliably tested and well documented.
Candidates will have a proven technical background within the broadcast industry, providing both support and design engineering across editing platforms (ideally Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Flame and ProTools).
You must also have in-depth knowledge of video fundamentals covering SD, HD, UDH, routing and distribution processing and have experience of asset management systems, for example Avid Interplay, Tedial, VizRT Ardome or Evertz Mediator. In addition, experience of auto QC systems such as Harding, Aurora or Vidcheck would be beneficial.
This position requires solid IT skills covering Windows, Mac OS and Linux and networking (routing, switching, security / firewalls, ACLs). Any additional experience of Active Directory, LDAP, SNMP, SQL PHP, Apache, SOAP or REST would be highly advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career, working with cutting edge technologies in a modern broadcasting environment.
If you feel this is the right role for you, and if you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
