We currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Social Media Content Manager to join a world-leading digital broadcast organisation based in Spain.
Managing a team of Community Managers, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the social media strategy and editorial / content calendar for the channel, maximising audience engagement and ensuring a consistent brand voice across international social media platforms.
Working in close collaboration with the Content team, you will lead the production of content with a focus on video, to ensure strategic social media objectives / KPIs and platform best practices are met. You will provide recommendations to achieve business and audience growth targets, for example, traffic, revenue and social reach, based on real-time data and feedback. This will also include evaluating new social media platforms and technologies to remain at the forefront, implementing new social media trends, tools and channels.
As the Social Media Content Manager you will manage the sourcing and cross-promotion of content amongst the organisation’s partners and stakeholders, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with counterparts from other social media teams, major social media companies and vendors.
To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience of working within a Social / Digital Marketing environment and a proven track record of managing digital communities and growing audiences, ideally for a major global brand.
Candidates will have expertise across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, VK, Weibo), enterprise publishing and management tools (CoTweet, TweetDeck, Vitrue, Percolate) and digital monitoring and data tools (Social Radar, Radian6, SocialBakers). You will be skilled in social media measurement and analytics, with the ability to deduce actionable insights from data and present findings.
You will also have hands-on experience of executing social marketing principles to drive business KPIs, such as audience engagement and content strategy development, and possess strong team management and client relationship building skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task. A keen interest in emerging technology is also key.
