A leading, London based broadcast facility currently has excellent permanent opportunity available for an experienced, process-driven Studio Engineering Manager.
As the Studio Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a multi-studio TV facility, the line management of a team of skilled Broadcast Engineers and acting as a key point of escalation for technical issues.
With a professional and customer-oriented approach, you will manage relationships with broadcast partners, clients and suppliers and ensure that all services are delivered to the highest quality.
Candidates will have a proven background as a Broadcast Engineer, with hands-on technical support skills across studio equipment such as vision mixers, audio desks, lighting, HD/SD cameras, remote heads, graphics systems, IP encoders / decoders and playout services. Familiarity with online streaming technologies is desirable and any additional knowledge of ITIL methodologies or similar would be advantageous.
Previous team management or supervisory experience is essential, along with the ability to devise training and personal development plans for engineering staff and develop long-lasting relationships with clients.
