We are currently working with a rapidly expanding broadcast technology company that has a great permanent opportunity for a Technical Manager to join its team.
Working as Technical Manager, you will provide team management and leadership responsibilities to a team of Engineers, ensuring customers are fully supported throughout the whole process covering both pre and post-sales support. You will manage numerous projects, acting as the main customer interface, assigning resources, managing risks and reporting progress to the Managing Director.
To be considered for this role, you must be educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Computer Science / Networking related discipline. Previous experience of managing projects and support contracts is essential, as is the ability to work with 3rd party technical teams in order to translate requirements into technical solutions for the customer.
Applicants must also be comfortable engaging with CCNP on IGMP, OSPF, SDN and PTP, and have an understanding of emerging technologies, specifically across audio/video compression and video IP. Previous experience of managing a support engineering team within a broadcast technology environment is essential.
