A leading broadcast company currently has a fantastic opportunity available for a Technical Stores Site Manager, to manage the seamless operation of its busy facility, OB base and vast range of broadcast equipment assets.
As the Technical Stores Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the transition to a newly installed, highly sophisticated asset database, which will require the development and implementation of innovative working practices, Health & Safety initiatives and the leadership of a well organised team.
Establishing clear lines of communication between store staff, you will ensure efficient equipment rental procedures and OB trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and promptly. This will also include managing warehouse spaces and logistics, such as driver, vehicle and kit movements, and handling equipment faults and repairs.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience of working in a similar capacity within the broadcast industry or for a technical equipment rental company. You will have exceptional organisational skills and a methodical mindset, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
You must be prepared to work 12 hour shifts, and on occasion irregular working hours, so a flexible working approach will be crucial, as will a valid UK driving licence.
