A multi-national broadcaster currently requires multiple Broadcast Support Engineers to join its London based team, on a contract basis, to provide support to state of the art broadcast production systems.
Working as a Broadcast Support Engineer, you will be providing 1st-line technical and operational engineering support across broadcast production workflows and MAM systems, either resolving faults or escalating these to the relevant 3rd-line support teams. To be successful, applicants must be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience of providing engineering support in a live broadcast environment. These roles will provide support to our client’s main Media Asset Management system and its integrated platforms including: TX packaging, VOD transcoding, ingest and content handling.
Basic Linux and networking knowledge is essential, as is knowledge of tapeless workflows, file delivery systems and transcoding technologies. Knowledge of EVS, Avid ISIS, Omneon and Quantel video servers would be beneficial, as would experience with Aspera and Signiant workflows, Rhozet transcoders and OTT delivery platforms.
These are 24/7 shift-based roles, that will include nights.
