Job Details

A global broadcast organisation currently requires a Channel Planning Coordinator to join its London based team on an initial 12-month contract. This is an interesting, hybrid role and gives you the exciting opportunity to work in both Media and Programme Planning, where you will work across on-air promotion and campaign planning.

As Channel Planning Coordinator, your duties will involve inputting programme schedules, assisting the Media Planning Manager in creating campaigns and working closely with the Creative and Compliance teams to monitor promo content, whilst ensuring that it is delivered on time and meets specific deadlines.  You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of break content, advising on the number and duration of editorial fillers to ensure breaks are optimised and to reduce repetition. You will also monitor competitor breaks and on-air strategy.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a degree or equivalent with a demonstrable passion for documentary and reality programming. You must also be able to analyse data, compile reports and make strategic decisions whilst working under pressure. Ideally, candidates will have previously worked in a media, broadcast or marketing environment and have a keen interest in pursuing a career within the TV industry.

Turkish language skills are also highly advantageous for this position.

This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career within a major international broadcast organisation.

If you feel you have the right skills and experience to be successful in this role then please apply with a copy of your Word CV now. Please note only applicants who are already fully eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship can be considered.
