A London-based international video advertising company that specialises in the delivery of video content to the broadcast industry is currently recruiting for a Japanese speaking Client Support Executive, to join its team, on a permanent basis.
As a Client Support Executive, you will work remotely from home and be responsible for providing the highest level of customer support to all Japanese users of the company’s Cloud platform, solving technical issues efficiently as and when they arise. You will develop strong relationships with different production companies, post houses, broadcasters and advertisers and respond to enquiries via live chat, email and telephone. It is vital that you ensure both technical and operational issues are logged and escalated to other internal resources in a timely manner.
Your duties will also involve carrying out Cloud based system configurations and delivering user interface (UI) / product feature training.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that applicants are both native Japanese speakers and fluent in English. You must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in media and advertising, with a good technical aptitude, an understanding of different file formats and ideally excellent knowledge of Google products such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides. You must also be confident to assist in resolving technical issues over the phone and enjoy interacting with clients.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are key and a strong knowledge of Internet, Mobile or Digital Online Media technologies is ideal.
Any experience of working with non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Flame would also be highly advantageous, along with any knowledge of web-based technologies including HTML, XML or FTP.
