We are currently working with a leading broadcast organisation that is looking to recruit a Media Systems Engineer, to join its London based technology team, on a permanent basis.
As Media Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing in-depth technical support for broadcast technology systems including, file delivery systems, EVS media servers, storage systems and non-linear edit suites. You will provide first line support, identifying technical faults quickly and efficiently and escalating when required.
To be considered for this role you must have previously worked with a television broadcaster, post production house or OB facility in a technical support capacity. You will have excellent experience of supporting either EVS or Avid specialist systems (EVS video servers, IP Director, XT Access servers, Interplay, ISIS), with experience across both systems being highly desirable.
Additional experience of supporting ASG archive systems, Spectralogic tape robots and Aspera file delivery systems is required, along with strong broadcast IT skills. You will also possess a good knowledge of multi-VLAN networks and Active/Open Directory environments.
As this is a shift based role, involving nights and weekends, a flexible working approach is required.
