A leading, Home Counties based, broadcast service provider currently has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join its team.

In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and end-to-end planning of resources for the successful completion of major projects and global broadcast events, for both new and existing customers. With a self-motivated and passionate attitude, you will ensure the best value for all parties is achieved for each event, by providing the most efficient and cost effective solutions.

As a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator, your duties will include providing accurate quotes, dealing with costing and billing information, booking travel for staff and coordinating staff rotas.  You will work closely with both external customers and internal Commercial, Operations and Engineering teams, building strong and long-lasting relationships. You will be working alongside the Commercial and Operations departments to overcome challenges meeting requirements and last minute changes.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have either worked within logistics and planning, with a keen interest in broadcast, or have previously worked in a bookings role within the satellite and broadcast industry. It is essential that you have a good knowledge of EU and UK Driving regulations and are highly organised with the ability to deal with changes at short notice.

Strong administrative and scheduling skills are also key as well as a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.  Any experience of scheduling systems such as ScheduALL would be highly advantageous but training will be provided.

It is also important that you have excellent communication skills, a close eye for detail and a strong ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You must have a flexible work approach as you will be required to work on call one weekend in six.
