A leading outside broadcast company currently has an exciting permanent opportunity available for a Post Production Assistant to join its team.
As a Post Production Assistant you will support the post production team and be responsible for reviewing and logging footage, making compilations and creating copies of footage on different formats. Additionally, you will occasionally need to attend events to assist with the production team. Working to specific briefs, you will also be required to occasionally create edited content using various media sources for post production projects.
To be considered for this role, candidates must be educated to at least HND level in a media related subject and be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Runner, Researcher or Production Assistant within a broadcast environment. A basic understanding of non-linear editing platforms, contemporary video file formats and codecs is also required, with good knowledge of Adobe Premier being advantageous. You must also have at least a basic understanding of current production techniques and equipment.
It is imperative that applicants have an EU Driving license and a flexible working approach as hours may vary with the need to work some nights and weekends.
