|Job Title:||Principal Engineer – Playout|
|Location:||Europe: London, UK|
|Salary:||£50,000 – £55,000 per annum|
|Sector:||Engineering & Development|
We are currently working with a leading broadcast services company that is looking to recruit a Senior Broadcast Engineer to be responsible for providing 3rd-line technical support across its broadcast facility.
In your role as a Senior Engineer, you will be heavily involved in technical design and project implementation across a number of key broadcast areas, investigating escalated issues and liaising with 3rd party providers. You will provide day-to-day support and also be involved in project work, contributing to the design of new systems, completing project implementation tasks and managing small technical projects.
This position will also be highly customer-facing, acting as a key point of contact and escalation for technical issues, and therefore requires exceptional communication and client relationship building skills.
To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate previous experience within a large technical broadcast facility. Strong knowledge of Morpheus playout and SAM technologies would be highly advantageous, however other playout systems experience will be considered. Experience across audio / video, editing and production systems is also important, as are strong IT skills, networking and knowledge of database technologies.
Applicants must demonstrate good leadership skills and possess the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, without supervision.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly successful broadcast organisation.
If you feel you have the right skills and experience to be successful and if you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions, then please apply now.
