We currently have a fantastic, permanent opportunity available for a Product Manager to join a global manufacturer of camera support products, designed for use within the broadcast, film and video industries. Based on the East Coast of the US, you will be responsible for successfully devising and implementing the strategy for the company’s product portfolio.
As Product Manager you will manage the full product lifecycle and be responsible for identifying new and existing market opportunities based on close examination of market trends, financial market analysis and competitor research, translating this into actionable specifications for both current and future product ranges.
Based on your in-depth experience within the broadcast/film/video industries, you will be able to develop an intimate understanding of client requirements and combine this with their viability within the market. Your technical grasp will also enable you to remain informed on emerging technologies in the industry, creating cutting-edge technical solutions that keep the company ahead of its competition.
Working in close collaboration with the Marketing and Engineering teams, you will define and implement the go-to-market strategy, providing strategic guidance on product specification, development funding and brand development. You will also be responsible for the completion of Market Requirement Documents (MRD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and Product Design Approvals (PDA), covering market justification, product specification, projected sales and cost analysis.
You will have exceptional communication skills to interact with all levels, with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships and be a creative and strategic thinker. It is fundamental to the role that you are able to travel, with a passion for technology and knowledge of the industry.
