A leading broadcast graphics system vendor currently has a number of exciting permanent opportunities available for experienced Service Desk / Helpdesk Support Engineers, at varying levels of experience, to join its team based in Europe. Fluent German and English language skills, both oral and written, are essential for these positions.
Working as a Service Desk / Helpdesk Analyst, you will provide first and second-line technical support directly to television broadcast customers and end-users worldwide, covering incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance monitoring, processing and implementing product change requests, acceptance testing and writing technical documentation.
With your creative mindset and team spirit, you will guarantee the highest level of service to clients throughout maintenance, integration and upgrade projects and come up with fresh, innovative ideas to improve IT solutions.
Candidates will have previous experience of working within an IT help desk environment, with strong support skills across Linux and Windows platforms and scripting using Bash or Perl or similar. Any additional experience of cloud technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), ELK, Zabbix, MySQL or Samba would also be advantageous.
These positions will require a flexible approach to working hours as they will be part of a 24/7 shift pattern, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
